West Avia Air Show & Fly In will take place at Seinäjoki Airport on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Originally scheduled for July, the event was postponed due to unfavorable weather conditions, as the safety of both pilots and visitors was the top priority.
Designed for the whole family, the event offers a full day of aviation experiences. Visitors can enjoy thrilling flight displays, explore a variety of aircraft, learn more about aviation as a hobby, and discover plenty to see and do on the ground as well.
The flight programme will be announced closer to the event.
The day’s flying programme and participating aircraft are still being confirmed due to the new event date. The aim is to bring a diverse range of military and civil aviation to the skies over Seinäjoki, including aerobatic performances, helicopters, and a variety of recreational and training aircraft.
The programme previously announced featured, among others, a Finnish Air Force F/A-18 Hornet, as well as several renowned aerobatic aircraft and historic aircraft. Due to the rescheduling, the participation of all performers and aircraft is being confirmed individually for the new date.
The latest programme will be published closer to the event. Please note that the flying display schedule may also be subject to change on the day of the event due to weather conditions or other flight safety considerations.
