Seinäjoki Airport
Seinäjoen Lentoasema Oy is responsible for operating and developing Seinäjoki Airport, serving the needs of charter and general aviation as well as various aviation sector operators. The company offers flexible, customer-oriented services and the opportunity to co-create new solutions.
The airport is located in a logistically central position and is evolving toward the future of aviation – embracing sustainable logistics, new technology applications, and drone traffic solutions.

FINNHEMS
Seinäjoki Airport is one of seven bases operated by FinnHEMS, Finland’s nationwide helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS) provider.
The on-call crew has access to both a helicopter and a rapid response vehicle (a physician or paramedic car). Each crew includes an emergency physician, a pilot, and a HEMS paramedic or rescue specialist.
The Seinäjoki unit handles over 1,000 flight operations annually. The base began operations in autumn 2022, and the emergency medical services are provided by the Pirkanmaa wellbeing services county.

EP aviation club
Seinäjoki Airport is also home to a vibrant general aviation community. The Etelä-Pohjanmaan Ilmailukerho (EPIK) – South Ostrobothnia Aviation Club – operates at the airport and offers aviation enthusiasts the opportunity to explore the world of flying, from gliding to powered flight and ultralight aircraft.
The club has a long-standing tradition, its own fleet, and provides training in various types of aviation. EPIK warmly welcomes new members and partners to join the community!

J. rinta-jouppi machine
Rinta-Jouppi Machine is part of the Finnish automotive retail group Jarmo Rinta-Jouppi Oy. The company offers a wide selection of used construction machinery, property maintenance equipment, and material handling machines.
A broad range of rental machines is also available.

sedu logistics
SEDU Logistics operates a large unit adjacent to Seinäjoki Airport. The unit offers vocational training in fields such as bus and combination vehicle driving, as well as warehouse and logistics operations.
Students are trained for real-world logistics careers in a modern, hands-on learning environment.

FOKUS NORDIC OY
Fokus Nordic Oy specializes in real estate investment and development. The company owns the property of a former service station in the West Avia area.
The property is available for lease to new tenants who want to take advantage of a prominent location and the opportunities offered by this growing business district.

RENGONHARJU-SÄÄTIÖ
The Rengonharju Foundation is a stable organization established by municipalities, promoting aviation activities in South Ostrobothnia since 1978. The foundation built Seinäjoki Airport and still owns the area’s infrastructure, equipment, and facilities, which it leases to Seinäjoen Lentoasema Oy.
The foundation’s properties are home to SEDU Logistics (Seinäjoki Regional Educational Consortium) and Seinäjoen Lentoasema Oy.
Rengonharju Foundation is part of the City of Seinäjoki group, supported by the municipalities of Seinäjoki, Ilmajoki, Kurikka, and Lapua.
A total of 27 million euros has been invested in the area, aiming to strengthen regional vitality and support aviation-related education and business activities.

South Ostrobothnia drone center
South Ostrobothnia College and Sedu Vocational Education and Training Center have established the EP Drone Center to support the adoption, training, and development of drone technology in the region. The center offers companies and educational institutions the opportunity to test, develop, and innovate drone solutions safely with top-tier equipment. At the same time, it strengthens the region’s cybersecurity expertise and expands educational offerings to meet the needs of future aviation. The EP Drone Center enhances South Ostrobothnia’s appeal and creates a unique platform for new innovations.
