Aero EDIH supports the development of digital airspace at Seinäjoki Airport
The Drone Logistics and Digital Airspace project will develop a new platform for autonomous flight operations and sustainable aviation at Seinäjoki Airport. The project will investigate the compatibility of 5G technology with existing aviation systems, and create a safe framework for drone piloting.
The goal is to build a digital airspace concept that attracts technology players and research collaboration to the region. The project will strengthen West Avia’s role as a testing ground and serve as a model for other regional airports.
