Room to grow for heavy machinery trade (EN)

When it comes to trading large machines, you need space, good connections, and accessibility. Located next to Seinäjoki Airport, the WestAvia business area offers exactly that – making it an excellent location for heavy equipment sales.

Into Seinäjoki’s Joonas Soini interviewed Seppo Salomäki from Rinta-Jouppi Machine, who shared insights about the company’s operations and his views on the opportunities WestAvia presents. Rinta-Jouppi Machine is part of the Finnish automotive retail group Jarmo Rinta-Jouppi Oy.

The area provides plenty of space, even for transporting large machines by trailer, and the logistical location is excellent: machines can be delivered smoothly across Finland. WestAvia offers great transport connections and extensive opportunities for construction. Still, Salomäki hopes to see more neighbors in the area – especially other industry players or service companies that support the machinery trade.

What does the future hold?
“There will be major business activity here, as long as people recognize the area’s potential. This is truly a great location – everything is ready,” Salomäki concludes.
